Mainswest is a specialist in trenching and drilling, as well as laying conduit and cable. By acting as an electrical sub-contractor, Mainswest services prime contractors that have been mandated to deliver a range of civil projects, including land subdivisions and infrastructure projects. Most recently, Mainswest was selected as the contractor for the iconic Elizabeth Quay site in Perth, whilst also working around Western Australia to deliver the National Broadband Network (NBN).
Mainswest is owned jointly and equally by Dorado Capital and the Figliomeni family.
Integrated Industrial is a key supplier for mining and offshore supplies, safety equipment, tools, hardware, plumbing, building supplies and general consumables, supplying to the mining and offshore industries in Australia, Africa and Asia. Dorado first invested in Integrated Industrial (formally Integrated industrial Mining Services) in 2008 and has been highly involved with the development of the business ever since.
Dorado invested successfully in Surpac Minex Mining Software in 2003, which subsequently merged with Gemcom Software International Inc. MiPlan Solutions was founded by two individuals who both worked at Surpac/Gemcom. Dorado is an active investor in MiPlan, with non-executive representation on the company’s board, as well as a close involvement with MiPlan’s progress and development.
Dorado also has a number of passive technology investments such as direct holdings in app developer Safety Culture and light detection and ranging (LiDAR) business Baraja. Dorado also co-invests with venture capital funds that it supports such as Blackbird Ventures.

Tim Moore has over 30 years of commercial experience in Western Australia. Through Dorado Capital he has invested in many businesses across a wide range of industries; bringing to the table his background in finance and accounting, together with diverse skills from a career in management, investment banking, software and property.
Jake joined Dorado Capital in May 2019 and is responsible for deal origination and execution as well as ongoing portfolio management. Jake has a background in Corporate Finance having worked at KPMG in Perth for five years before relocating to London in early 2014 where he took a role with property company Stenprop. During his time at Stenprop Jake oversaw the listing of the company on both the Johannesburg and London Stock Exchanges and was involved in over AUD 1 billion of property and corporate transactions.
